Clinton High School
Clinton High School
Additions and Renovations
Clinton, Tennessee
Originally designed and built circa 1968 under the influence of the now abandoned “round school” theories promulgated at that time, this school had many design flaws. AWAM corrected these by replacing the long ineffective HVAC with a water source heat pump system and each classroom “pod” was turned inside out to improve function. Additions include a new centralized main entrance, a new two-story 21-classroom addition connected to the original building by a new pedestrian bridge, a new band suite addition and a new gym lobby.
