Monroe County Health Center

Madisonville, Tennessee

The site, located at the top of a hill, contained a wooden pavilion that was the meeting place for community events and a local Native American tribe. The heavy timber entry was designed to reflect the former wooden pavilion. The building structure is steel frame and studs with stucco, concrete masonry and brick veneer which provided an economical building envelope. The center facilitates medical and dental services to the community and complies with HIPPA guidelines for building design.
